Golden Rush
Fragrance notes
Character
A man adjusts his coat on a crisp evening as he walks through a cobblestone courtyard lit by iron street lamps. Golden Rush suits this exact pause between plans. It opens with a bright ribbon of orange and blackberry that cuts through the cold air, quickly joined by the resinous weight of labdanum and frankincense. Coriander and tarragon add a green, slightly herbal lift to the fruit, keeping the entrance from feeling heavy.
As the walk continues, honey and cinnamon warm the air around him. The sweetness is dense and golden, anchored by cloves and a soft whisper of rose. Guaiac wood and bay leaf lend a dry, aromatic edge to the heart, while orchid and celery seeds introduce a strange, savory twist that keeps the sweetness from becoming one-dimensional. The scent sits near him, creating a personal atmosphere that moves as he moves.
Deep in the base, oud and myrrh provide a dark, balsamic foundation. Opoponax and cedar add to the resinous depth, while patchouli and oak ground the composition with earthy seriousness. Musk and ambergris smooth the edges, allowing the fragrance to linger on his scarf and coat sleeves long after he has passed through the gate. The trail is intimate, noticed only by someone standing close.
The cold air sharpens the spice and makes the amber accords feel even more inviting against the stone walls. He reaches for the door handle, the smell of honey and wood clinging to his sleeve as the night stretches on and the lamps flicker in the draft
