Our take

The room is quiet, filled with the dry heat of old floorboards and the faint creak of leather chairs. Captive 301 enters this space through a soft opening of cardamom and violet. The spice is crisp, while the flower adds a cool, powdery dust that settles quickly. Iris joins them, lending a rooty, slightly cosmetic edge that feels deliberate. It does not shout for attention. Instead, it sits close to the skin, creating a refined atmosphere where the air itself seems to carry a fine, aromatic mist.

As the moment continues, leather and cedar begin to shape the center of the room. The leather is smooth and polished, lacking any harsh bite, while the cedar provides a dry, vertical structure. This heart feels grounded and masculine without being aggressive. Warm spicy and smoky accords drift upward, mixing with the remaining violet. The amber in the base starts to glow, adding a resinous weight that pulls the woody elements closer to the floor. Sandalwood rounds out the edges, and musk leaves a clean, animalic trace in the air.

The scent feels like a private study where a wooden box of spices has been left open near a vase of dried flowers.
