Orange blossom and cherry open Legacy Vol. 1 with a bright, slightly candied fruitiness. Saffron and cardamom add a warm, peppery edge that keeps the start from feeling like a simple gourmand. The floral heart is dense. Bulgarian rose and frangipani sit beside frankincense and bakhoor, creating a thick, resinous atmosphere that feels heavy rather than airy.
Vietnamese oud and Chinese oud anchor the base with a dark, medicinal woodiness. Castoreum and tobacco push the scent toward a rough leather texture that some will find appealing and others will find aggressive. The amber and balsamic accords wrap around the wood, giving the blend a sticky, golden warmth that lingers on the skin.
Musk and myrrh soften the sharper edges without cleaning them up completely. This is a scent for cold evenings and formal occasions where a bold presence is welcome. People who prefer clean citrus or light aquatic compositions should avoid it. The powdery finish sits close to the skin. Smoky, woody, leather.
