Our take

Boss The Scent for Her Eau de Toilette opens with a slick of honeyed peach and a sharp twist of green mandarin, the pink pepper giving it a fizzy, almost effervescent nudge. It feels like the first warm day of spring when you peel off a jacket and realize the air smells of blooming flowers and someone else’s suntan lotion. The heart blooms quickly: freesia and orange blossom paste themselves together into a creamy white floral, while osmanthus adds a plush, apricot-like depth that keeps the fruitiness from turning syrupy. Beneath it all, a quiet dusting of cacao settles in, more like the dry powder at the bottom of a cocoa tin than a rich, melted chocolate.

This is a polite, sunlit fragrance, entirely natural in its sweetness and thoroughly mainstream in its approach. It does not shout or linger. Indeed, with a longevity barely cresting 2.5 out of 5 and sillage that stays close to the skin, it fades into a soft, honeyed whisper within a couple of hours. That is its weakness: you will need to reapply or accept it as a short, intimate pleasure. It suits someone who wants a cheerful, uncomplicated floral for brunch, a garden stroll, or a lazy afternoon at the office. Skip it if you crave depth, projection, or a fragrance that lasts through dinner. Save it for spring and summer days when the sun is out and you want to smell like a ripe peach dropped into a freesia patch, nothing more, nothing less.
