Sunlight warms the terrace stones while a glass of cognac sits untouched near a bowl of pomelo segments. The air carries Mysore sandalwood and sandalwood together, their creamy timber smoothed by Turkish rose, Taif rose, and rose in full bloom. Narcissus and tulip add a cool floral lift, while santolina threads the space with an aromatic green touch. Frankincense and ambergris give a resinous, balsamic weight that never turns sharp. Patchouli and tobacco rest underneath, earthy and faintly sweet, with civet lending an animalic breath that keeps the flowers from feeling polite. The blend reads as woody, amber, and warm spicy at once, powdery in the dry air and alive with small shifts as the breeze moves across the table.
Cognac and pomelo brighten the resins without turning the scene fruity. Every note stays close to the skin yet distinct, the roses never crowding the sandalwood, the incense never drowning the greenery. It feels crafted rather than assembled, each material allowed its own voice in a warm, floral, and balsamic atmosphere that suits the open air.
The animalic edge from civet and the heavy tobacco may sit too boldly for those who prefer clean, soapy woods. The composition offers depth and character, but that particular weight is the one reason someone might reach for a lighter scent instead.
