Our take

Sheikha opens with bergamot and saffron. The citrus is bright and immediate, while the saffron adds a warm, slightly metallic edge that keeps the start from feeling purely sunny. This combination moves quickly into the heart, where rose and geranium sit alongside cashmere wood and guaiac wood. The flowers are present but not overwhelming, and the woods give the floral aspect a dry, textured backdrop. The result is a profile that feels both aromatic and fresh spicy, with the rose lending a softness that the geranium counters with a faint green touch.

The base brings amber and moss into the mix. Amber adds a golden, resinous weight that deepens the earlier woods, while moss introduces an earthy, slightly damp quality. Together they reinforce the woody and warm spicy accords already established. The fragrance stays consistent in its character, moving from a citrus-spice opening to a wood-led heart and finishing on a grounded, amber-rich base. It feels composed for cooler conditions, when warmer materials sit more naturally against the skin.

Throughout, the accord list tells the story clearly. Woody and rose lead, supported by fresh spicy, amber, aromatic, warm spicy, citrus, mossy, and earthy facets. The saffron threads through the top and heart, the bergamot brightens the early stage, and the amber anchors the final phase. Moss and the two woods ensure the drydown stays close to the ground. The overall impression is a structured, layered fragrance built around rose and wood.
