Mango leads Boss Woman into tropical fruity-floral territory, sweet and a little creamy, joined quickly by mandarin for a brighter, more citrus-forward top than the mango alone would give. The staying power sits squarely in the middle, neither fleeting nor persistent, and the scent keeps a fairly tight radius around the wearer, the kind of presence a seatmate would pick up on.
Freesia and violet root take over in the heart, softening the fruit into something with the soft, clean smell of a favorite body lotion. The violet root in particular adds a slightly earthy, rooty undertone beneath the freesia's sweetness, grounding what could otherwise be an entirely candied floral. White cedar and sandalwood close it out gently, adding a soft woody structure underneath the fruit.
