Character
Snow piles against the window frames of a wood-panelled study. Inside, the air carries castoreum and honey, a thick animalic warmth that feels close to the skin. Jasmine sambac lifts through it with a creamy white floral weight, while tonka bean and benzoin add a rounded vanilla amber glow. Patchouli sits underneath with hawthorn and musk, giving the room a woody, powdery texture that never turns sharp.
The fireplace crackles and the cold stays on the other side of the glass. Leather from the castoreum mixes with the smoky air, and the honey feels dark rather than bright. Benzoin and tonka bean smooth the edges so the animalic side never overwhelms the florals. Musk holds the whole space together, a quiet fabric that lets each material breathe without crowding the next.
