Our take

Deseo Forever opens with a dewy crunch of apple and peach, the fruit glossed over by a puff of Hedione that makes everything feel slightly airy and optimistic. Bergamot and orange blossom add a citrusy floral lift, but there is already a mineral coolness lurking underneath, like wet stone after a summer shower. As it settles, the heart turns into a dense bouquet of white florals: magnolia, freesia, lily-of-the-valley, mimosa, and rose all packed together. The mineral note persists, giving the flowers a peculiar, almost metallic sheen, which keeps it from being simply another pretty pink bottle.

On skin, it dries down to a powdery amber-musk base with soft oakmoss and cedar. The patchouli and sandalwood are barely noticeable, which is probably for the best, because this is not a fragrance built for weight. It lasts about three hours on a good day, then evaporates into a faint sweet memory. Sillage hovers close: a polite cloud, not a statement. This is a mainstream fresh floral, synthetic in the way most drugstore gems are, but with a green, mineral edge that feels like a cheap vacation to a very specific resort pool where the tiles are cold and the drink station runs out of peach syrup by noon.

It suits someone who wants a bright, easygoing spritz for a hot morning, but who doesn't need it to survive lunch. Skip it if you value longevity or crave complexity, because this fades faster than a guilty tan. Wear it to brunch, to a daytime garden party, or while running errands in early summer, when the fruit and white florals hum along like a forgotten radio station, pleasant but never demanding.
