Phobos
Fragrance notes
Character
Phobos opens with iris and cedar met by saffron and myrrh. Patchouli adds a damp, earthy edge while coriander brings a brief, crisp lift. The opening feels dry and resinous before the florals arrive.
Moroccan and Turkish roses sit beside orchid and lotus in the heart. Ambergris smooths the petals without turning the blend aquatic. The flowers read powdery rather than fresh, and the saffron from the top notes lingers to keep the sweetness in check.
Vanilla and honey lead the drydown, thick and golden. Ambrette adds a soft, musky warmth and davana brings a fruity, slightly herbal roundness. The base stays sweet and amber-heavy, with the earlier iris and cedar now sitting quietly underneath the sugar.
The room is dim, the air warm, and the scent hangs in the space like a heavy curtain of velvet.
