Angelica brings a faintly herbal crunch before juniper berries and cardamom take over, their peppery lift balanced by the creamy white petals of jasmine sambac. The heart stays lively rather than heavy, more sunlight on stone than velvet curtain.
Rsvp settles into a base where oud and guaiac wood meet patchouli and amber, but the transition never loses that bright, aromatic edge. Cashmere wood rounds out the drydown with a smooth, slightly powdery warmth that suits a wide range of skin chemistries. It reads more like a refined niche composition than a loud crowd-pleaser, and the saffron gives it a distinctive signature that stands out among woodier scents. The one limitation is the oud here. It lacks the deep, fermented character that defines the material in more expensive compositions, so the base feels a bit thin and safe compared to the vivid opening.
