Leather and dark chocolate meet at the opening, a dense pairing that feels heavy before the first minute passes. Mandarin orange lifts the edge just enough to keep the entrance from turning flat. Vanilla sits underneath, rounding the sharper corners without making the blend soft.
Patchouli and iris form the center. The patchouli is earthy and dry, while the iris adds a powdered texture that keeps the heart from becoming too muddy. The transition here is slow, and the notes overlap rather than replace one another.
Opoponax and myrrh give the base a resinous weight. Ambergris and oakmoss pull the composition toward something animalic and damp. Sandalwood and benzoin smooth the finish, but the overall impression stays dark and balsamic.
