The oud and leather in the base feel grounded, while violet and raspberry add a soft, slightly powdery sweetness that keeps the mood gentle rather than heavy. Sandalwood and amber round out the space, and a faint trace of oakmoss prevents the blend from becoming too smooth. Saffron repeats from the heart, tying the floral density of rose and jasmine to the deeper wood. It reads as a composed, modern take on oriental style, polished and urban rather than traditional.
The opening promises more sparkle than the fragrance actually delivers. Pink pepper, tangerine, and bergamot flash briefly, then step aside for the heavier heart and base. Nutmeg and honey appear early but do not carry through, leaving the first minutes feeling like a preview for a longer story. Cinnamon and cashmere wood add warmth, yet the overall movement stays in one lane. The limitation here is a lack of contrast. Once the spices and florals settle, the path forward changes very little. It is a cohesive scent, but it does not surprise you after the first few minutes.
