This opening feels heavy and sweet rather than bright. As the fragrance moves forward, labdanum and oud take over alongside incense and cashmere wood. Violet and ambrette soften the resinous heart, but the sweetness remains present throughout. The base brings amber, cedar, sandalwood, vanilla, musk, and vetiver. Vanilla and amber sit beside the woods, creating a warm and powdery drydown that feels dense on the skin.
The honey note persists from the first spray into the later stages, binding the resin and wood together. Because the scent stays near the body, the honey and amber wrap around the wearer without reaching outward into the surrounding air. The cedar and vetiver add a dry edge to the sweet foundation, but they do not cut through the weight. This creates a warm and enveloping profile that suits a cool evening when the air is quiet and the light is low. The mood feels intimate and composed, matching a setting where heavy resin and soft powder make sense.
The fragrance feels rich and cohesive, but the honey can become overwhelming. It leans heavily into sweetness, and the amber and vanilla reinforce that direction.
