Amber by Christy Organics is a fragrance for the person who wants to be wrapped in a blanket of scent rather than greeted by a bright spark. Vanilla and labdanum form a dense, resinous core that feels heavy and intimate against the skin. The amber accord dominates with a balsamic depth that is sweet but never sugary, leaning into a powdery, musky finish that recalls the inside of a cedar chest lined with old linens. Woody facets ground the composition so it reads as earthy and serious instead of playful. This is not a scent for a breezy afternoon walk or a light linen shirt. It is for standing near a fireplace while the wind rattles the windows, when the air is cold enough that the warmth of the resin feels necessary.
