Character
A man steps out on a crisp morning, the air cool enough to warrant a light jacket but clear enough to invite a long walk before the day begins. He is not dressed for ceremony. The choice feels personal, an adornment as much for himself as for anyone near him.
Sweet orange and grapefruit provide a bright, juicy opening that feels instantly uplifting. The mint is crisp, preventing the citrus from becoming too heavy or sweet. As the composition develops, the heart notes introduce a sharp, dry heat. Cinnamon and cloves bring a dusty, powdered spice that mixes with the fresh bite of pepper. The inclusion of rose is subtle, adding a soft floral layer that bridges the gap between the bright top and the heavy base. It feels traditional yet maintains a clean, aromatic edge.
The foundation is a rugged mix of leather and resinous amber. Sandalwood and cedar provide a dry, polished woodiness that feels refined rather than raw. There is an underlying earthiness from the patchouli that anchors the brighter spices. It smells like the interior of a vintage car with the windows rolled down on a winding road surrounded by tall, dry trees.
