JoAnne Bassett composed this unisex parfum with a dense mix of citruses, rose, boronia, tuberose, oud, neroli, sandalwood and vanilla. The accords read as floral, citrus, white floral, fresh, rose, warm spicy, tuberose, oud, woody and fresh spicy, and the scent carries all of them at once. The citrus elements brighten the heavy white flowers, while the rose adds a soft layer that keeps the tuberose from dominating completely. Boronia and neroli bring a fresh, slightly green edge that cuts through the richer materials.
Oud and sandalwood give the blend a deep, resinous foundation that feels suited to evening wear and low lit rooms. Vanilla smooths the sharper spices and ties the wood to the petals, creating a warm, rounded texture. The overall impression is lush rather than airy, with the spices and woods pressing close against the florals. It feels deliberate and composed, moving through its notes without ever becoming thin or sharp.
The density can be overwhelming if you prefer clean, minimal compositions. The many accords compete for attention, and the parfum does not leave much space for the wearer to shape the impression.
