Wild Rose
Fragrance notes
Character
The opening is a sharp, upright wall that can feel rigid on first contact. Tarragon and anise lead with a cool, herbal bite, while black pepper adds a brisk sting that keeps the entrance narrow and a little austere. It is not a gentle welcome, and some will find the spice too linear before the petals appear.
Sunlight falls across a stone courtyard where a single rose bush grows against a warm wall. The flower here is raspberry ripe, its juice catching the light, and boronia lifts the air with a soft, honeyed breath. Myrrh settles into the cracks of the stone, patchouli grounding the fruit with earth, and oud hums in the background like a low note on a wooden instrument. The scent sits in that bright space where spice and sugar meet without toppling into either, the anise still visible in the air as the rose deepens and the resin begins to wrap around the stems, the whole scene held in a quiet, amber haze while the courtyard breathes
