Character
Blood orange and tangerine open the composition with a bright, juicing citrus that feels immediate and slightly wet. Pink pepper adds a dry, cracking heat that keeps the fruit from leaning too heavy, while cardamom brings a cool, green lift that sits just behind the peel. The opening is lively without shouting, moving quickly into the floral heart where ylang-ylang adds a creamy, banana-like roundness that softens the spice.
Rose enters with a clean, dewy petal feel, and violet leaf pulls the center toward something green and slightly aqueous. Nutmeg warms the florals from underneath, giving the middle a gentle, kitchen-shelf heat that never becomes sharp. The spices and flowers sit close together here, with the pepper lingering at the edges while the ylang-ylang and rose take up most of the space.
Sandalwood and patchouli form a smooth, earthy base that grounds the earlier brightness, and vanilla wraps the woods in a soft, sugary film. The patchouli keeps the vanilla from feeling flat, adding a dark, rooty texture that lingers beneath the cream. Sweetness is present throughout the drydown, but the spice and wood keep it from becoming one-dimensional, leaving a warm, floral, slightly spicy impression that stays close to the skin
