Our take

Parlez-Moi d'Amour opens with a burst of berry jam, blueberries and raspberries tumbling out alongside a slick of mandarin juice, sweet and almost sticky. It feels like a flirtation that starts loud, with too much enthusiasm. The heart pulls back into a powdery rose softened by lavender, a gesture toward romance that never quite deepens into anything serious. Jasmine adds a pale, soapy shimmer, but the fruit never really lets go. On the dry down, vanilla and patchouli wrap things in a familiar amber sweetness, while vetiver tries to ground it with a whisper of dry earth.

This is a fragrance that dresses up like a lover but behaves like a nervous party guest, all chatter and no follow through. The overall image is a smudged lipstick kiss on a cocktail napkin, charming at first, but fading before the night ends. It feels sweet and synthetic in the opening, then more natural as the rose and patchouli settle, though the longevity and sillage are modest, 3.41 and 3.11 out of five, leaving you reapplying before dinner is done.

It suits someone who wants a flirty, fruity floral for a spring daytime date, a picnic brunch, or an afternoon shopping trip. Skip it if you need a scent that lasts through a long workday or demands attention from across the room. Best worn when the mood is playful, not profound, and the sun is still high.
