Artisan Pure is citrus stacked on citrus: clementine, lemon, mandarin and bergamot together read less like separate fruits and more like a single, very bright block of orange peel, with thyme and marjoram adding a herbal snap that gives the citrus real backbone instead of letting it read as simple juice. Rodrigo Flores-Roux built this as pure daytime fuel, nothing brooding or complicated about it, the kind of opening that wakes you up faster than coffee does.
Ginger and petitgrain carry a light, green heart, adding a bit of spice and shade to the fruit, and the base of musk, orris root and amber is where the composition finally slows down and takes on a little weight. Staying power settles into an average pace, and the sillage stays private, the citrus fading into a clean skin-warmth you'd have to lean in to catch. It is a bright, uncomplicated fragrance built for hot weather and casual wear, at its best on a warm morning when almost anything heavier would feel wrong. Anyone hoping for real depth, real complexity or serious staying power will want to look at a different bottle entirely, since none of that is really the point here.
