Frankenstein
Fragrance notes
Character
Frankenstein opens with calone, matcha tea, osmanthus, grass, rose and tea. The calone and tea give a bright, watery lift that sits above the green grass and the soft petal of the rose. Matcha adds a dry, slightly bitter edge that keeps the opening from feeling sweet.
The heart brings anise, moss, salt, seaweed, grapes, hibiscus, lotus and rose. Anise and salt push forward while the moss and seaweed add a damp, earthy weight. Grapes and hibiscus introduce a mild fruitiness that stays close to the skin. Lotus smooths the sharper edges and the rose repeats from the top with a warmer tone. Cedar, oud and cypress form the base, with cedar and cypress lending a dry, forest floor feel and oud adding a resinous depth that anchors the marine and spicy notes.
The mood fits a cold evening walk where the air feels damp and the streets are quiet. Wear it when the sky is dark and the temperature has dropped. It suits a person who enjoys woody, salty scents with an herbal bite and does not mind a strong anise presence.
