Our take

Fleurs de Cerisier Eau Fraîche will not stay with you for the whole day, and it does not try to. It is made to be noticed for a few hours and then fade, which is exactly what makes it easy to wear. You are walking through a garden path in the late morning, the air still cool but bright, with pale petals falling across the stone. The opening is a soft citrus lift, lemon rind and clean green stems, touched by cherry blossom that smells like fresh water more than fruit. It stays close to the skin, moving only a short distance from the wrist, so the person next to you catches it when they lean in. The heart brings peony and heliotrope, a light powder that settles without becoming heavy, and a jasmine note that keeps the floral side from turning sugary. Beneath it, sandalwood and cedar give a faint dry woodiness, while white musk makes the whole scent feel clean and airy. It is not a perfume that makes a statement. It is the smell of sunlight on a pale dress, of a quiet morning that does not ask to be remembered past the afternoon. The drydown stays gentle, a faint vanilla and musk that lingers on the skin like warmth after the sun moves on.
