Petales
Fragrance notes
Character
The sun sits high over a stone courtyard where pale petals gather in the corners of a fountain. Euphorium Brooklyn Petales smells like that heap of crushed stems and blossoms after someone has walked through a garden bed in full leaf. Green sharpness runs through hyacinth and galbanum while palmarosa adds a warm, grassy edge. Honey touches the air without turning heavy, and star anise brings a cool lift beside black pepper and elemi. Lavender and lime blossom sit near lily and orange blossom, with jasmine and rose adding weight that never turns cloying.
Fig and pink grapefruit brighten the mass of petals, and petitgrain keeps the green tone from flattening. Iris and orris give a soft, rooty texture that feels closer to powder than to dust. Labdanum, tolu balsam, benzoin, amber, and musk wrap the flowers in a resinous blanket. Vetiver and moss pull the sweetness toward something earthy, and tonka bean rounds the edges so the animalic note of indole reads as warm breath rather than dirt.
Geranium and violet sit near orchid in a way that keeps the floral accord from leaning too far into candy. The scent feels handmade and a bit untamed, suited to someone who wears skirts with soil on the hem and likes a fragrance that refuses to be tidy. It suits a person who enjoys a white floral that bites back and welcomes the resinous weight as part of the charm.
Light hits the wet stone where a single petal sticks to the toe of a shoe.
