Our take

Peach and lime open the first breath, bright and slightly tart, with mandarin orange rounding the edges so the fruit feels fresh rather than candied. The citrus is immediate and cheerful, the kind of opening that makes you reach for a light jacket and step outside before the day fully settles.

Ylang-ylang and orchid take over quickly, softened by rose and a touch of geranium that keeps the florals from becoming too lush. The heart sits close to the skin in feel, a yellow floral blend that reads powdery rather than dewy, with the orchid adding a faint creaminess that bridges the fruit and the wood.

Patchouli and vanilla anchor the base, supported by sandalwood and a clear ribbon of cinnamon that gives the drydown its warm spicy character. White musk smooths the edges so the finish stays polite, though the vanilla and cinnamon together can lean heavy if the air is already warm.

The limitation here is the balance. The spice and patchouli are strong enough that the citrus top sometimes gets buried after the first few minutes, leaving a drydown that feels more woody and powdery than the bright opening promised.
