Mosaic
Fragrance notes
Character
Mosaic opens with a sticky, dark date note that feels like biting into dried fruit still warm from the sun. It is dense and immediately sweet, pulling the entire composition into a heavy, resinous space before the other elements have a chance to stretch.
The heart brings sandalwood and saffron together with a firm leather accord. The spice is metallic and dry, cutting through the initial sugar, while the leather adds a rugged, slightly dusty texture. Benzoin and vetiver in the base ground the blend, lending an earthy, amber-like weight that feels polished rather than raw.
Composed by Roberto Dario, this masculine scent carries a powdery, animalic edge that keeps it from feeling like a simple gourmand. It is bold and unapologetically heavy, sitting close to the skin with a musky, aromatic finish that lingers in the air around the wearer.
Picture a dimly lit stone courtyard in the cool evening, a heavy wool coat pulled tight, and the air smelling of spice and old wood. A man who enjoys classic, opulent scents with a dark, resinous character will feel completely at home here.
