Taraq
Fragrance notes
Character
The dried fruit and plum opening leans heavily into sugar, and the dates in the heart push it further in that direction. This is not a subtle entrance. The saffron tries to cut through, but the sweetness remains the first thing you notice. For some, this rich, candied start will feel like too much to wear.
Rose and leather sit together in the middle, with the oud adding a deep, resinous weight. The metallic accord from the list occasionally peeks through the floral petals, giving the blend a sharp edge against the soft powder. Sandalwood and patchouli anchor the bottom, providing a woody foundation that keeps the amber from floating away completely.
The scent stays present on the skin for a generous amount of time, trailing gently behind you as you move through a room. It does not announce itself loudly to everyone nearby, but it creates a distinct personal atmosphere. The composition feels warm, wrapping around the wearer like a heavy coat during a chilly evening walk.
Taraq is composed by Daniel Josier for nBitor. It suits someone who enjoys a fruity, spicy profile that feels substantial and traditional. Wear it when the air turns crisp and you want a warm, sweet companion for the day.
