Our take

Rozy opens with a honeyed rose so thick it almost feels chewable, a peach and passionfruit jam smeared across the bloom. The tropical fruit is tart at first, then surrenders to a powdery lilac and hyacinth that lift the composition just enough to keep it from collapsing into syrup. A whisper of tarragon cuts through with green sharpness, while sandalwood anchors the dry down into a creamy, slightly woody base that lingers close to the skin.

This is a scent that behaves like a hothouse flower opened too early: lush, slightly wilting, and demanding attention for the wrong reasons. The projection is modest, barely a whisper arm’s length, and longevity settles around three to four hours before fading into a honeyed skin scent. For a niche release from Vero Kern, the execution is skilled, but the execution doesn’t save it from feeling a little heavy-handed. The sweetness borders on cloying, and the powdery notes can turn fuzzy rather than elegant.

Who should wear it? Someone who wants a rosy gourmand with real fruit pulp and a honey buzz, not a crisp floral. Skip it if you prefer airy, transparent roses or anything that doesn’t demand a springtime picnic blanket and a cool breeze. Best reserved for daytime in April or May, when the air is still damp enough to temper the sweetness. Would it work in summer? Only if you enjoy being a walking bee trap.
