Flower of life nr 2 opens with saffron and jasmine. The saffron carries a dry, slightly metallic edge that keeps the jasmine from leaning fully soft. It is a bright start that feels polished rather than natural, with the floral note sitting cleanly beside the spice.
The heart introduces ambergris, hedione, and amberwood. Hedione adds a fresh lift that prevents the amber materials from feeling heavy. Ambergris brings a mineral quality that sits between salty and warm. Amberwood rounds out the center with a smooth, resinous texture that bridges the top and base.
Fir resin and ambroxan lead the base, supported by lichen, cedar, and sugar. The fir resin gives a green, slightly sticky pine note. Ambroxan creates a clean, synthetic amber halo. Lichen and cedar add earthy and dry wood facets. Sugar is present but does not dominate the resin and wood.
