Polar
Fragrance notes
Saffron and jasmine open Polar with a bright, slightly metallic floral lift that feels polished rather than soft. The jasmine carries a clean white edge while the saffron adds a warm, almost leathery shimmer that keeps the start from leaning too pretty.
Ambergris and amberwood take over quickly, wrapping the florals in a smooth, resinous warmth. Hedione lightens the heart just enough to stop it from feeling heavy, giving the middle a rounded, slightly airy texture that sits close to the skin.
Fir resin and cedar bring a green, forest floor dryness that cuts through the sugar and oakmoss. Ambroxan adds a modern, mineral glow that ties the woods and the sweetness together, creating a contrast between crisp resin and rounded warmth.
Polar smells expensive in the air but the sugar in the base feels a touch synthetic against the natural woods. The jasmine can also turn sharp on sensitive skin, making it less forgiving for those who prefer entirely smooth florals.
