Le Sportif
Fragrance notes
Character
The morning air at the marina carries a cool bite that fades as the sun climbs higher over the dock. Le Sportif sits on the skin like the spray that rises when a boat cuts through calm water. Mandarin orange and grapefruit lead first, bright and loud against the salt air, while melon adds a rounded softness that keeps the citrus from feeling sharp. Bergamot and lemon follow close behind, layering the opening with a clean clarity that matches the white hulls lined up along the pier.
Rosemary drifts through the middle, herbal and dry, tangled with cyclamen and lily-of-the-valley. The flowers do not read as delicate here. They feel sunlit and open, carried on the accord labeled sea water that gives the air a mineral edge. The scent settles into the rhythm of the afternoon, patchouli and amber grounding the brightness without pulling it into shadow, musk stretching the marine thread across the surface of the moment while the breeze moves across the deck and the light shifts over the water
