That central contradiction, sweet versus green, pastel versus powder, is the whole point. It develops into a vanilla bean that feels vaguely pharmaceutical, nipped at the heel by tobacco leaf and a ylang-ylang that refuses to soften into tropical flirtation, staying stubbornly heady and astringent.
