Our take

The Agent opens with a bright citrus flash that meets ambroxan. The combination feels modern and slightly synthetic, giving the first minutes a clean, sharp edge that cuts through the air. It is brisk rather than juicy, more about structure than about fruit.

Vanilla enters the heart and begins to pull the scent toward something warmer. The base soon takes over with velvet woods, teak wood, patchouli, oakmoss, vetiver, and amber. These elements create a dense, earthy foundation where the wood feels dry and the moss adds a green, slightly damp touch. Patchouli brings a dark soil note that grounds the vanilla, while vetiver adds a crisp root character. Amber wraps the mix in a soft, resinous glow that keeps the woods from feeling too austere. The overall impression is a polished oriental wood that leans spicy and musky, with just enough floral and fruity accents to keep the blend from becoming too heavy or monotone.

A man who likes his citrus to lead into serious wood will feel at home here. It fits a cool evening well and works when the air is crisp enough to let the amber and moss speak clearly.
