Character
Lavender opens Legend clean and a little sharp, with pineapple and bergamot adding a sweet, citrus lift right behind it. Bergamot brightens the lavender just enough to give Legend a fruitier, more modern lean than a classic lavender fougère would have. Red apple and dried fruits move in at the heart, giving the fougère structure a fruited, almost candied edge. On skin the sillage forms a small, well-behaved bubble, and staying power keeps an even, modest pace from there.
Coumarin and oak moss hold the lavender's herbal side in place, while geranium and rose add a soft floral layer next to the fruit. Rose is a quiet presence in the heart, felt more than smelled outright, backing up the apple and dried fruit without pulling attention away from them. Tonka bean and sandalwood settle underneath, warm and a little sweet, closing the fougère structure on a mellow note.
Legend suits most of the calendar, worn from early spring through the cooler stretch of fall, and it reads more like an office scent than a big night out. The apple and dried fruit combination gives it its personality, sweet without losing the lavender's herbal backbone entirely.
