Lavender soon takes the lead, softened by violet and a thread of incense that smells like a sweater stored with dried flowers. It is powdery in a gentle way, not dusty or old fashioned, and the citrus from the beginning now feels like a memory rather than a spotlight.
The base brings musk and cashmeran together with vetiver and tonka bean, creating a warm, woody bed that holds the lavender in place. It is smooth and slightly sweet, with the vetiver adding a dry, earthy edge that keeps the tonka from feeling heavy. The powder from earlier lingers, now blended into something creamy and calm.
You keep walking with your hands in your pockets, noticing how the air around you carries that same lavender and white floral warmth through the pale light, the cashmeran and musk wrapping the scent into the fabric of the day while the anise flickers once in a while like a quiet thought you are not ready to finish
