Fragrance notes
Character
The opening greets you with a juicy rush of peach and plum, brightened by the clean snap of freesia and peony. White musk threads through immediately, keeping the fruit from feeling heavy as the scent settles onto the skin. It stays near the body, creating a soft halo that accompanies you through a morning walk or a bright office space without overwhelming the room. The initial sweetness feels approachable and familiar, a gentle start that does not demand attention.
As the fruit steps back, a garden unfolds. Rose and jasmine lead, supported by lily-of-the-valley and ylang-ylang, while a blade of grass note adds a crisp, green edge. This heart feels airy and traditional, evoking a sunlit patio rather than a closed room. The florals linger comfortably on the wrist for a few hours, carried by the musk, though the blend never projects far beyond a handshake distance. It is a classic feminine bouquet that behaves with poise.
The drydown shifts the conversation. Coffee and frankincense arrive with sandalwood and cedar, joined by vanilla and tonka bean. Coriander adds a tiny spark of spice to the wood. These deeper materials give the fragrance a warm, slightly powdery finish that remains close to the skin. The transition from fresh fruit to resinous wood happens smoothly, though the coffee remains a background whisper rather than a bold statement.
Dilís Parfum crafted a versatile daytime companion that moves gracefully from blossom to bark. The composition feels a bit dated in its arrangement, leaning on a 1990s aesthetic that lacks the crisp definition found in modern releases. The many notes sometimes blur together into a single soft blur, making it difficult to pick out individual flowers or the promised coffee bean.
