Coffee is the surprise here, tucked into the base under vanilla and tonka bean, an unusual bitter note against all that sweetness. Green grass and lily-of-the-valley open things up top instead, crisp and a little damp before peony and peach round out the fruitier side, plum and white musk adding one more layer of fruit and skin underneath.
Sandalwood and cedar hold the base alongside that coffee, staying near enough to the skin to feel like your own warmth more than a scent, and wearing at an unremarkable, even pace that neither rushes off nor lingers for good. Rose and ylang-ylang add a soft floral layer to the heart, tempering all that green with something rounder.
Incense and coriander give the drydown a faintly spiced edge instead of a purely sweet one.
