Dilis Classic Collection No. 19
Fragrance notes
Character
Dilis Classic Collection No. 19 opens with a crisp bite of pepper that cuts through the juicy brightness of green apple. Freesia adds a clean, slightly soapy edge to the start, keeping the fruit from leaning sweet. The early minutes feel alert and upright, with the spice giving the fresh notes a dry lift that prevents the opening from becoming a simple fruity spray.
The heart gathers violet, jasmine, heliotrope, hibiscus and rose into a soft floral blend. Violet and heliotrope carry the powdery accord forward, while jasmine and hibiscus supply a gentle petal texture. Rose sits in the background, adding depth without dominating. The flowers here feel pressed and dry rather than dewy, and the powdery tone grows steadier as the middle stage settles.
Leather enters with the woods, bringing a faint animalic warmth that sits close to the skin. Sandalwood and cedar give the base a smooth, dry structure, while labdanum and frankincense add a resinous weight that anchors the florals. The leather is not loud or sharp, and the woods do not overwhelm the powdery heart that continues to linger through the later stages.
The scent fits a bright office morning or a weekend errand in the sun, where the pepper and freesia feel natural against a busy backdrop. The drydown stays near the body, so the resins and leather accompany the wearer without extending far into the surrounding space. The composition holds together through the day, with the floral and woody elements trading places
