Fruit du Dragon
Fragrance notes
Character
Fruit du Dragon opens with a sticky, almost candied burst of pitahaya and black currant, the dragon fruit lending a watery pink opacity while the currant adds a tart, jammy edge. That initial hit is pure tropical confection, bright enough to make you squint. Then passion flower intrudes, not as a lush tropical bloom but more like the faint floral note in a cheap cocktail mixer, synthetic and a bit shrill. The drydown is where the fragrance collapses into a whisper of white musk, a clean but forgettable skin scent that has about as much personality as a damp towel. This is the olfactory equivalent of a fruit ice pop melting on a hot sidewalk vivid and cheerful for a few seconds, then just a sticky puddle and then nothing at all. Longevity clocks in at a brutal 2.41, sillage barely a 2.30, meaning you will need to reapply if you want anyone to catch even a whiff beyond your own wrist. It feels aggressively synthetic and overtly mainstream, a drugstore candy counter in a bottle rather than a serious perfume. This suits someone who wants a cheap, cheerful spritz for a sunny grocery run or a lazy beach afternoon, someone who values a momentary mood lift over performance. Skip it if you need a fragrance to last through dinner or announce your presence from across the room. Wear it in the dead heat of summer, on a casual day when all you want is a fleeting hit of something sweet and silly, and nothing more.
