Character
The sweetness here leans hard into candy territory, and that is the first thing you notice. Strawberry and sugar sit right at the front, joined by a bright pear and limetta that keep the opening juicy. Lavender tries to add a calm edge, but the sugar dominates early, so the first impression is playful and very young.
As the minutes pass, the fruit steps back and the woods arrive. Cedar and pine bring a dry, forest floor feel, while pepper and incense add a gentle heat. Tonka bean and jasmine soften that sharpness, and magnolia and rose give a light floral veil that keeps the heart from feeling too dark.
The base settles into sandalwood and vanilla, with amber and musk wrapping the woods in a warm blanket. Ambroxan and vetiver add a clean, slightly earthy lift, and oakmoss grounds the sweetness so it does not float away entirely. It smells like a forest after rain, if that forest were also a candy shop.
The problem is that the sugar never really leaves. If you want a mature, dry wood, this will feel too much like a dessert. It is a fun, sugary walk through the trees, but the candy note stays loud from the first spray to the very last trace.
