Pride opens with a sharp bite of black pepper and cardamom. The spice is immediate and dry. A small amount of raspberry appears, but it stays in the background. It provides a hint of color without turning the scent into a fruit dish. The liquor note adds a cool, boozy edge to the initial spray. It feels crisp rather than heavy.
Turkish rose sits at the center of the composition. It is deep and slightly powdery. The ink note is unusual here. It gives the floral heart a dark, mineral streak that separates this from standard rose releases. Tobacco in the base is warm and dry. Oak and vetiver ground the blend with a clean, earthy woodiness. The overall impression is aromatic and green.
