Saffron hits first, bright and metallic against the cold juice of plum and bergamot. Mango and raspberry add a quick flash of sugar before the coconut smooths the edges. The fruit here is loud for a moment, then steps aside.
Rose and iris arrive with a powdery weight. Magnolia and jasmine sit underneath, more felt than clearly smelled, giving the florals a thick texture rather than a fresh one. The heart feels dense, almost suffocating in the best way.
Oud and leather take over with a dry, cracked surface. Castoreum pushes a warm animal scent through the moss and vetiver. Frankincense and labdanum keep the smoke going while sandalwood and cedar ground the resin. Vanilla and amber wait until the end to show their sweetness.
