Character
Sunlight falls across a stone courtyard where a warm breeze carries the bright sting of lemon and pink pepper through the air. The citrus feels sharp at first, cut by the pepper's gentle heat, and the morning feels awake. Lavender soon joins the air, its calm herbal tone wrapping around the spices so the opening does not rush past. Frankincense adds a clean, resinous lift that keeps the heart feeling dry rather than sweet, and the entire space smells composed and steady.
The deeper drydown slowly takes hold as tonka bean and vanilla begin to soften the scene. Amber brings a golden, resinous weight that settles into the air and makes the courtyard feel intimate. The vanilla is smooth and rounded, never loud, while the tonka bean adds a gentle, almond-like warmth that lingers in the background. Powdery musky notes rise from the stone underfoot, blurring the edges of the sharper spices until the whole atmosphere feels wrapped in a gentle, amber-hued haze.
Lavender and frankincense continue to weave through the base, preventing the sweetness from becoming too heavy and keeping the resinous warmth grounded in something herbal and dry. The citrus has long since faded into a faint memory, leaving the amber and vanilla to carry the mood forward as the light continues to move across the courtyard walls.
