The citrus is sharp at first, then the pepper settles into a gentle heat that sits just behind the nose. Cedar enters next and gives the heart a dry, polished wood surface. Bulgarian rose and ylang-ylang add a soft floral layer that never turns soapy. Jasmine lingers in the background and keeps the flowers from feeling heavy. Benzoin and vanilla close the structure with a warm, resinous sweetness that leans balsamic rather than sugary. The amber accord wraps the woods and the resin together so the transitions feel smooth. There is a powdery haze across the entire wear that softens every edge. The smoky facet stays quiet and never overwhelms the citrus or the flowers.
The overall impression is a walk through a narrow street where wood shops stand beside small bakeries. The spicy accords feel cozy against cold air and thick coats. The vanilla here is flat and a bit synthetic, lacking the depth that real vanilla absolute gives to similar compositions. That artificial tone makes the benzoin feel thinner than it should. The powdery accord also sits a little too loud and can mask the delicate jasmine. For a fragrance built on rose and cedar, the floral side sometimes gets buried under the balsamic sweetness.
