Raees Luxury Edition
Fragrance notes
Character
Raees Luxury Edition opens with lemon and clary sage placed over calone. The lemon is bright and clean, the sage adds a mild herbal edge, and the calone brings a watery freshness that feels airy rather than sharp. This opening stays light and does not linger long before the heart takes over. Incense enters with freesia, and the freesia softens the smoke without hiding it. The shift moves the fragrance from bright to atmospheric in a short span, and the ozonic accord keeps the airiness present while the smoke builds.
The drydown carries cedar, amber, patchouli, and musk. Cedar gives a dry wood structure, amber adds warmth without heavy sweetness, patchouli brings an earthy depth, and musk smooths the edges. The amber and woody accords dominate here, with the smoky facet from the incense still visible underneath. The composition feels cohesive and leans masculine in its weight. The limitation is that the calone and lemon leave the opening feeling a bit thin, so the transition to the richer base can feel abrupt rather than gradual.
