Amour de Sculpteur
Fragrance notes
Character
Pepper and grapes meet at the opening, a sharp bite softened by something round and purple. Bergamot lifts the edge without turning the start bright. Narcissus carries a heavy pollen weight through the heart, supported by lily rather than overwhelmed by it. Siberian pine adds a cool needle note that keeps the florals from feeling too dense. Cinnamon warms the air around the flowers instead of sitting on top of them.
Ambergris and patchouli anchor the blend with a damp earthiness that suits damp pavement and heavy coats. Vanilla rounds the base, not as a dessert but as a worn wood floor. The scent stays near the body as it develops, and the materials themselves hold their shape for a good stretch once the top notes step aside. It fits a walk under bare trees when the air still has a bite.
The composition leans heavily on its spicy and balsamic accords, which can feel thick by midday. Some of the yellow floral facets read a bit dry and papery next to the richer base. It is a dense, amber-led wear that asks for patience with its heavier moments.
