The heart is surprisingly floral, creamy and elegant, nothing like the skunky blast the name promises. That’s the trick here: Cannabis is not about the plant itself but the idea of it, the earthy, herbal warmth you might remember from a distant room. The base settles into a dry, woody trio of patchouli, cedar, and sandalwood, faintly powdery and balsamic, like a vintage wooden ashtray that has never held a single cigarette. The overall character is a soft, hazy morning in a greenhouse, sunlight filtering through leaves and dust motes. It leans natural and niche-adjacent, with a restrained sweetness that never shouts. But the numbers don’t lie: longevity barely scratches three hours, and sillage is a whisper. You’ll need to reapply if you want anyone to notice. Best worn in spring or early fall, during the day, when your skin is warm enough to coax out the magnolia but not so hot that the whole thing evaporates instantly.
