Ambroxan and Iso E Super carry the heart into a musky, amber-rich space that clings to fabric and skin for a good while. Timbersilk adds a smooth, synthetic wood that never turns sharp. Hedione keeps the middle airy, so the scent stays personal and does not announce itself across a room. It moves through a workday or a dinner without needing attention, sitting near the body in a way that rewards leaning in.
The limitation here is the melonal in the base. It brings a watery, slightly melon-like edge that can feel out of place against the warm amber and musky ambrette. That aquatic accent lightens the blend, yet it also breaks the spell for anyone hoping for a pure, resinous wood.
