Temple of Echoes
Fragrance notes
Character
Temple of Echoes opens with saffron and cardamom placed beside neroli and coconut milk. The spice is immediate and warm, while the neroli adds a bright lift that keeps the start from feeling heavy. Coconut milk rounds the edges and gives the opening a smooth, creamy texture that carries the spices without dulling them.
The heart introduces cashmere wood and ginger alongside Madagascar vanilla and black pepper. Ginger brings a sharp bite that cuts through the vanilla, and black pepper adds a dry heat that keeps the sweetness in check. Cashmere wood gives the center a soft, slightly fuzzy warmth that sits close to the skin and bridges the opening spices to the deeper base.
The base is built around oud, tonka bean, amber, Australian sandalwood, musk, and vetiver. Oud provides a resinous depth that feels dark and slightly medicinal, while amber and tonka bean add a rich, rounded sweetness. Sandalwood smooths the oud, and vetiver adds an earthy, dry finish that prevents the base from becoming too dense. Musk ties the materials together and leaves a warm, aromatic trail that suits a cool evening walk or a dimly lit room. The leather accord appears faintly in the drydown and gives the entire composition a firm, grounded character.
