Character
Cinnamon and cardamom arrive first, dry and brisk against the skin. The milk note softens the edges immediately, turning the spice into something poured rather than sprinkled. Black tea sits in the background, leafy and slightly astringent, keeping the sweetness from becoming a flat line. Jessi Park composed a chai that smells like the drink without mimicking steam.
Vanilla anchors the blend, smooth and familiar, while nutmeg and ginger add a gentle heat that moves through the entire wear. Cloves appear last, dark and slightly medicinal, giving the base a weight that the lighter tea cannot provide. The lactonic accord makes the whole composition feel creamy, as if the ingredients were blended with whole milk instead of water.
Green facets peek through the spice, a fresh contrast that stops the vanilla from dominating every moment. It suits a quiet morning when the air outside is sharp and the windows are fogged. The spices linger on the fabric of a sweater, mixing with the vanilla in a way that feels
